Top Characters You'd Like to Check in With

This week's TTT is about characters from series that have ended and you would like to see their life post the series. I'll add standalone books as well. I won't make the ten this week *sad face*. Here's my list and in no particular order:

1. Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. I can just imagine Hermione doing great things (maybe like Emma Watson has been with 'he for she').

2. Ella from Ella Enchanted. I love Ella so much. 

3. Maia from The Goblin Emporer. A recently read book. I just loved Maia and hope his rule has continued successfully and that he's made many acquaintances he can truly call friends.

4. Hazel from The Fault in Our Stars. I nearly didn't put Hazel down just because I thought it felt mean. She would still be struggling with her cancer, that's not going to go away. I'd like to feel she's still coping though.

5. Nancy Drew. My favourite sleuth. 

6. Katniss from The Hunger Games. I'd like to see that her struggles to have really paid off and she's finally happy.

7. Elizabeth from Pride & Prejudice. Now she's married Darcy, I'd like to see how her life has turned out. I recently saw a BBC miniseries of P.D. James's Death Comes to Pemberley which was nearly like a glimpse, with a murder plot twist.

    I put Hazel down too - I want to know how she's getting on with her cancer, and whether she ever really recovers from Gus... It's kind of depressing though, isn't it?

      Hi Beth! Sorry for the late reply. It is depressing to think about. Hazel's a great character though. I loved her both in the book and movie.

    I've seen a lot of people put Hazel on their list, including me. I guess most people want to know how she's dealing with her cancer and Gus' death.

Top Ten Tuesday (24/03): Top Ten Books from my Childhood That I Would Like to Revisit

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish . It's a fun way to make bookish lists and find out what others have on their lists as well! Top Ten Books from my Childhood That I Would Like to Revisit  It's late Monday night and while I probably would (and could) remember so many more, below is my list for this week. Unfortunately not 10 but do series count?  1. Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levin.  My favourite book. Ever. 2. Nancy Drew series by Carolyn Keene.  I was OBSESSED with Nancy Drew. I think I read pretty much every book up to certain point. I had nearly every single book too. 3. Matilda by Roald Dahl.  I felt such a strong affinity with Matilda, being the bookworm she is. A great character and a lovely children's book. 4. The BFG by Roald Dahl.  Another great children's book. You know what, I probably probably every Roald Dahl book should be listed... 5. Narnia...
