Not sure who reads this or if anyone cares, but the blog has been a nice method for me to write down my thoughts - mainly my book thoughts. Lately I have been dealing with a lot health-wise. Nothing serious or life-threatening but something that has and will continue to have a big impact on my self-confidence and appearance (or how I think others perceive me). It is something I will have to deal with, something I am still working on managing. It is difficult but I will persevere and hope to overcome this! Right now, I am not too keen to share but I may do so when I feel more comfortable.

|The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks|
The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks is the first book of the Shannara Trilogy. I follow the Sword & Laser podcast by Veronica Belmont and Tom Merritt. This was their book pick for the month of February. It sounded interesting so I decided to add this to my reading list too. I borrowed this one from my library and it is a really thick book! I am roughly 30% of the way through it and am enjoying it so far.
I'm not much of a chef. I normally try to stay out of the kitchen. But with the health issues, I am making an effort to eat healthier, or eat the right types of food.

The baked fish recipe can be found here. It is easy. Finding the right type of fish was the difficult bit (I don't know my seafood very well).
The salad I discovered from a Fleur De Force YouTube video. Simple enough for little ole me to pull together.
What healthy recipes do you like to cook? Let me know - I am always keen to discover more, especially if they are easy!
Anyhow, that is it for now. I will look to working on those backlog of reviews before I forget them...
